Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a NY RN license, a BSN, and has strong leadership skills; a MSN and CCRN are strongly preferred to advance critical care programs and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Leadership or management experience, strongly preferred.
• Valid New York State RN licensure.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; master's degree preferred.
• CCRN certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing human and fiscal resources for 3 Intensive Care Units: CCU, MICU, SICU.
• Providing clinical leadership and oversight across the CCU.
• Developing and implementing performance improvement initiatives.

Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) Richmond University Medical Center seeks a Nurse Manager of Critical Care to join their team of professionals. This position demands a highly energetic individual with superior communication, organizational, and supervisory skills to oversee the entire Critical Care Unit (CCU). The Nurse Manager of Critical Care must be ready to tackle any problems that arise and offer a long-term commitment to the success of the organization.

Job Description

• Managing human & fiscal resources for 3 Intensive Care Units ; (CCU) (MICU) and (SICU)
• Providing clinical leadership & oversight
• Developing & implementing performance improvement initiatives

Required Skills

• Leadership /Management experience strongly preferred.
• Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; masters degree in Nursing preferred.
• CCRN strongly preferred.

Day Shift; 8a-4:30p

Salary Range:$120,000 - $140,000
