Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate, master’s, or doctor­ate nursing program.
• Minimum of three years of nursing practice or progressive leadership experience required.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Graduate of ACEN/CCNE accredited master’s or DNP program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Mayo Clinic nursing vision, mission and values across defined areas of practice.
• Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate operational, fiscal, and personnel activities to ensure quality patient care 24/7.
• Responsible for one or more inpatient units based on complexity and size of practice.
• Promote shared decision making and allocate resources to support safe and compassionate care.
