Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Nurse Manager 24/7 to drive the department's mission and values, plan and direct operations, and ensure high-quality patient care around the clock.

The role oversees one or more inpatient units, manages the total work unit budget, and facilitates development of staff while collaborating with nursing and other health-care disciplines across the organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (BSN/MSN/DNP); master’s or doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of three years of nursing practice or progressive leadership experience.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic preferred.
• Current RN license; BLS required; ACLS/PALS as per unit guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate operational, fiscal, and personnel activities for defined inpatient units.
• Direct and evaluate patient care to ensure 24/7 high-quality nursing service.
• Promote resources and collaboration across nursing and other disciplines.
• Oversee budgeting for the work unit and staff development.
