Job Description

Responsibilities of Nurse Managers include:

• Supervising the quality of treatment and patient care.
• Directing staffing and administration of a nursing unit or floor.
• Fostering a team culture that encourages and rewards excellence in patient care.

The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse responsible for managing financial, human, and other resources to provide quality patient care in an assigned area over a twenty-four-hour period. Qualifications for this position include:

• Master's Degree in Nursing; Nursing Administration preferred.
• State-issued RN license.
• Five (5) years of nursing experience, including hospital clinical practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in behavioral health is preferred.
