Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager of Telemetry to provide 24-hour leadership for patient care in the Telemetry unit. The role requires strong nursing leadership and a commitment to high-quality outcomes in an acute care setting.

The successful candidate will oversee staffing, ensure compliance with policies, and collaborate across disciplines to maintain exemplary patient care and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license required.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• National RN Certification preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Nursing required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum two years in an acute care management position required.

Responsibilities

• Assume 24-hour responsibility for planning, supervising, and evaluating patient care.
• Manage diverse categories of personnel for patient care.
• Demonstrate productivity management and knowledge of management principles.
• Demonstrate effective communication, teaching, and problem-solving within the unit.
• Evaluate personnel, assess environment, and set priorities to plan and evaluate outcomes.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• You will assume 24-hour responsibility for planning, supervising, and evaluating the care of patients to ensure comprehensive and continuous care for each patient/family in the unit and shift of responsibility
• This involves management and responsibilities for diverse categories of personnel for patient care
• This position requires in-depth productivity management, knowledge of management principles, communication, teaching/learning principles, nursing practice, and the ability to apply nursing theories. Acceptance of the philosophy and policies of the nursing unit and of the institution are essential
• The position requires skill in interpersonal communication, group dynamics, problem solving, delegation, interviewing, observation, counseling, and teaching
• You must evaluate personnel, assess environment, and determine priorities for care in order to plan, implement, and evaluate outcomes of care

What qualifications you will need:
