Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital seeks a Director of Med/Surg Telemetry to lead patient care operations and clinical teams. You will drive partnerships, safety, and efficiency while aligning with organizational goals and budget targets.

The role requires advanced management expertise, BSN (MSN preferred), and a California RN license with CPR certification. Prior acute-care leadership and regulatory experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Valid California RN license required.
• Current CPR Course C required; national RN certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years recent experience in acute care/management.

Responsibilities

• Assume 24-hour responsibility for assigned patient care areas.
• Promote professional practice and coordinate care across administration, clinical and HR.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, accreditation and regulations.
• Meet productivity standards and operate within budget guidelines.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• You will assume 24-hour responsibility for assigned patient care areas and promote professional practice, and coordinate patient care activities in areas of administration, clinical, and human resources.
• This position requires an advanced level of management expertise as demonstrated through leadership, departmental functioning and educational preparation.
• You will encourage and consistently reinforce staff compliance with organizational policies, safety regulations, infection control procedures, ethics and compliance, risk management activities, standard precautions and proper body mechanics.
• You will identify and take responsible steps to ensure compliance with all licensure, certification, accreditation and legislation that regulates and impacts the operations of the department and staff.
• You will meet productivity standards and operate within departmental budget guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
• BSN required, MSN preferred.
• Valid California RN license required.
• Current CPR Course C required; national RN Certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years recent experience in acute care/ management preferred.
