Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital is seeking a Manager of Regulatory Compliance to lead regulatory and quality initiatives within the hospital’s Quality Department. You will align resources with Corporate programs, support survey readiness, and partner with Clinical Operations, Quality and Patient Safety to drive compliance initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a healthcare field, 3+ years of healthcare quality/regulatory experience, and a CP HQ certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Related Field required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
• 3+ years experience in healthcare quality/regulatory accreditation management required.
• Understanding of data management systems required.

Responsibilities

• Perform managerial duties with knowledge of Hospital and Medical Staff Services Policies and Quality Management.
• Participate in development and implementation of hospital-wide plans, goals and objectives.
• Oversee operations in the Quality Department including survey readiness and regulatory functions.
• Direct and coordinate in partnership with the Director of Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Quality and Patient Safety to drive regulatory initiatives.
• Provide guidance during regulatory surveys and develop plans of correction with measurable outcomes.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• You will perform a variety of managerial duties which require a substantial knowledge of Hospital and Medical Staff Services Policies and Procedures, and tools in Quality Management
• As a member of the management team, you will participate in the development and implementation of hospital-wide plans, goals and objectives
• You shall have organizational responsibility for various operational functions in the Quality Department, including but not limited to survey readiness, regulatory functions, and peer review
• You will work at the direction of the Director of Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation in execution of the Hospital wide Performance Improvement Plan
• You will work closely with HCA Clinical Operations, Quality and Patient Safety to leverage corporate programs, tools and methodologies, align resources and drive participation in HCA regulatory and quality initiatives
• You will assist in providing direction and oversight during regulatory surveys/ visits, writing and developing collaborative and comprehensive plans of correction as appropriate, and creating sustainable measures of success if indicated

What qualifications you will need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Related Field required
• Master's Degree preferred
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
• 3+ years experience in healthcare quality/regulatory accreditation management required
• Understanding of data management systems required
