Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead clinics’ operations, staffing, budgeting and quality initiatives. The role is onsite and requires strong leadership and collaboration with medical leadership.

The position demands an RN license, a Bachelor's in Nursing (Master’s preferred), and a proven ability to manage teams, budgets and patient care quality. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field required.
• Current Washington State RN license or MSL; must obtain WA license within 60 days of hire.
• Works well with team toward a common purpose; supports team decisions.
• Demonstrates good customer relations skills.
• Proficiency in standard office software and clinical information systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee organizational, management, operational and administrative activities of the clinics.
• Supervise RN and assistive personnel; serve as clinical role model for staff nurses.
• Ensure department is staffed appropriately; manage hiring, performance evaluations, training and disciplinary actions.
• Encourage innovative approaches to patient care with clinic management team.
• Support and implement customer service, financial goals and quality initiatives in line with Fred Hutch strategic plan.
• Prepare and monitor operating budget; analyze financial impact and pursue cost efficiencies.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and feedback.
