Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the clinics, directing daily operations, budget development, HR management, and quality assurance. This onsite role at South Lake Union involves collaboration with medical leaders and partner institutions to deliver high-quality, patient- and family-centered care while supporting clinical research.

The position requires RN licensure in WA (or MSL with WA residency) and a BSN or higher in nursing or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field required; equivalency accepted.
• RN license in WA or NLC multistate license with WA residence requirement within 60 days.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee organizational, management, and administrative activities of the clinics.
• Supervise RN and assistive personnel; model clinical practice for staff.
• Ensure safe environment and compliance with procedures across the department.
• Hire, evaluate, train, and manage staff; address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Align customer service, financial goals, and quality initiatives with strategic plan.
• Monitor and manage operating budget; analyze financial impact of changes.
• Address patient concerns and ensure timely follow-through and satisfaction.
