Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Nurse Manager to plan, direct and oversee clinical services and daily operations of the department/clinics onsite at South Lake Union. You will supervise RN staff, ensure safe patient care, and collaborate with medical leaders to achieve high-quality, family-centered care and cost-efficient operations.

The role requires a Nursing degree and WA RN license; MBA/MPH strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field.
• RN license in WA or multistate license with WA eligibility.
• Leadership, teamwork and customer relations skills.
• Experience with clinical information systems and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and control services and daily operations of clinics.
• supervise RN and staff, provide coaching and evaluations.
• Ensure safe environment and proper patient care equipment.
• Hire, train, and manage staff performance and actions.
• Collaborate with medical leaders and partner institutions.
• Support customer service, financial goals and quality initiatives.
• Monitor operating budget and cost-efficiency measures.
• Analyze patient feedback and ensure follow-through actions.
