Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Nurse Manager to lead THN and Specialty Clinics, directing operations and staff development. You will partner with medical leaders to ensure patient- and family-centered care while shaping programs and quality initiatives.

The role requires RN licensure in Washington or a valid WA multi-state license, as well as strong leadership, budgeting and Lean principles to improve outcomes. This is a 1.0 FTE position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field required.
• Washington RN license or multi-state license with WA residency within 60 days.
• Leads and collaborates with teams to meet department goals.
• Strong customer relations and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in standard office software and clinical information systems.
• Preferred: Master's in healthcare or business; Lean/CI knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversees organizational, management, operational and administrative activities of the clinics.
• Supervises RN and assistive personnel; mentors staff in clinical practice.
• Ensures a safe environment and compliance with procedures.
• Staffing, hiring, performance evaluations, training and development.
• Encourages innovative patient care in collaboration with clinic leadership.
• Manages budget and analyzes financial impact to drive cost-efficiencies.
• Maintains customer satisfaction and follows up on concerns.
