Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a professional nurse to lead a unit, coordinate patient care, and act as a clinical role model. The role emphasizes patient-centered care across physical, psychological, and social needs with a focus on safety, quality, and staff collaboration.

Responsibilities include evaluating patient needs, ensuring adequate staffing, and supporting Magnet and Shared Governance initiatives. Work schedule is Fulltime, 3pm–11pm, 40 hours weekly on the designated unit.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Active RN license in state of practice (PA or NJ).
• CPR/BLS certification and American Heart Association training.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team.
• Evaluates patient needs and makes care recommendations.
• Monitors staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Collaborates with medical staff to ensure consistent plans of care and patient throughput.
