Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a professional Registered Nurse to lead a unit during the night shift. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, and coordinate patient care while supporting the care team and ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years in acute care, a Specialized Diploma in Nursing, and active RN licensure in PA or NJ. You will collaborate with the Nurse Manager, participate in Magnet initiatives, and contribute to staffing and throughput optimization.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma in nursing is required.
• 3+ years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Active RN license in PA or NJ.
• Strong communication and collaboration with care teams.
• Knowledge of patient safety and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Acts as resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team.
• Evaluates patient needs and makes care recommendations.
• Monitors staffing to meet patient care needs and reports to Nurse Manager.
• Facilitates patient throughput and coordinates care across the continuum.
• Supports Magnet and Shared Governance initiatives within the unit.
