Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to lead daily operations on a designated unit. The role requires coordinating patient care flow, evaluating care needs, and mentoring colleagues within the Magnet and Shared Governance framework.

Shifts run full-time, with a 3pm–11pm schedule in an acute care setting at 2301 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA. Active PA NJ RN licensure is required, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Active RN license in state of practice (PA).
• BLS and AHA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team.
• Evaluates patient needs and makes care recommendations.
• Monitors staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Reporting to the Nurse Manager.
• Collaborates with medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
