Job summary

Regalcare's Bear Mountain at Sudbury facility seeks a Nursing Supervisor/Infection Preventionist to lead infection control efforts and oversee clinical staff. The role requires an active RN license in Massachusetts and at least two years of hospital or long-term care experience.

You will apply epidemiology, microbiology, and universal precautions, coordinate with medical staff and other directors, participate in ongoing education, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must possess nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have at least two years of clinical experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related healthcare facility.
• Must have at least six months training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, infectious diseases, and aseptic technique with standard/universal precautions.
• APIC Certification in infection control preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention programs and supervise nursing staff.
