Job summary

Unitek Learning seeks a Full-time Vocational Nursing Instructor to join our team and lead nursing courses and clinical rotations. The role involves visiting clinical sites, using innovative teaching methods, updating syllabi, and submitting program reports to the Director in a timely manner.

The instructor will stay current with nursing practice, maintain student records, and participate in professional development to renew licensure.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current CA licensure.
• Faculty requirements set by the Board of Vocational Nursing.
• Proven ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses and clinical rotations at varying times/locations.
• Visit clinical sites to supervise instruction and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain student attendance, grades and skills check-off records.
• Participate in professional development and CE hours for licensure renewal.
• Contribute to syllabus review and program reporting to the Director.
