Unitek Learning is seeking a Full-time Evening Vocational Nursing Instructor to join our team. The role involves visiting clinical sites, teaching both lecture and clinical rotations, and updating syllabi while maintaining student records and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with CA licensure.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with ADN/BSN or equivalent.
• Ability to meet Board of Vocational Nursing faculty requirements.
• Minimum 3 years with BSN or 6 years with ASN; strong clinical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Visit clinical sites and deliver instruction in various settings.
• Improve instruction using diverse methodologies and online teaching tools.
• Review and update course syllabi and instructional guidelines.
• Submit program reports to the Director promptly.
• Maintain current safety regs and nursing competencies.
• Keep student records, attendance, grades and skill checklists.
• Update clinical requirements, immunizations and education files as needed.
• Teach lectures and clinical rotations, including evenings and weekends.
• Engage in professional development and CE hours; participate in committees.
