Job summary

State of Colorado seeks a Nurse II at Homelake Veterans Community Living Center to provide nursing and administrative oversight on a shift basis. You will mentor staff, ensure high-quality care, and document care in the residents' EMR.

Position requires RN licensure in CO or eNLC, BLS/CPR, and 2+ years of professional nursing experience, with adherence to infection control and regulatory standards. Some shifts may vary; travel and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Colorado or eNLC state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification maintained.
• Experience leading nursing staff and coordinating care.
• Knowledge of state and VA regulations for nursing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing and administrative oversight for three or more FTEs per shift.
• Direct, delegate, and prioritize daily nursing assignments.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR and MAR/TAR.
• Coach staff and ensure competency assessments are completed.
