Job summary

The State of Colorado at Homelake Veterans Community Living Center is seeking a Client Care Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on resident care in a secure setting. The role involves bathing, feeding, dressing, mobility, and accurate charting under supervision.

You must hold a Colorado CNA license in good standing and a current BLS CPR certificate. Shifts are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with potential schedule changes based on needs.

Qualifications

• Colorado CNA certification in good standing (must remain in good standing)
• Current BLS CPR certification is required
• Vaccinations as required by State and facility
• Must possess Colorado residency at time of application and throughout employment

Responsibilities

• Provide basic hands-on patient/resident care: bathing, dressing, hygiene, feeding, mobility and transfers
• Perform basic resident assessments and document findings (vital signs, weights, etc.)
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety
• Record data and communicate changes in resident condition to RN/LPN
• Transports residents for medical appointments as needed
• Attend training sessions and team meetings; participate in shift handovers
• Other duties as assigned
