Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to develop, deliver and evaluate educational programs.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and LEAN process improvement.
• Demonstrates leadership in nursing education and quality improvement.
• Experience as a preceptor or educator within healthcare.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learning Facilitator: bridge knowledge, skills and practice gaps via adult learning principles.
• Collaborative Partner: partner with nursing leadership to assess needs and develop programs.
• Role Development: promote professional nursing practice across the continuum from novice to expert.
• Mentor: support ongoing professional learning and development of others.
• Competency Management: use tools to capture knowledge and performance during practice.
• Orientation: develop and evaluate onboarding programs for changes in roles or processes.
• Change Agent: drive process improvements at micro to macro levels.
