Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Greater Manchester Region. The role focuses on nursing professional development, competency management, and onboarding of new colleagues while aligning with HHC standards and LEAN/process improvement initiatives.

The NPD practitioner partners with nursing leadership to foster education, professional growth, and evidence-based practice across the system. Requires BSN and CT RN license with 3+ years of clinical experience.

Formación

• BSN required and CT Registered Nurse license required before hire.
• Minimum 3 years of active clinical nursing experience.
• At least 1 year in acute care environment or ambulatory/ancillary areas.
• Experience as a preceptor is preferred.
• NPD or Clinical Specialty Certification within two years of hire/transfer.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate learning using adult learning principles and educational design processes.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess needs and develop programs.
• Monitor clinical competency and support action plans; participate in inter-professional learning.
• Promote professional nursing practice per ANA standards; support transition to practice.
• Advance nursing profession and NPD practice through ongoing professional development.
• Utilize tools to capture knowledge, skills, abilities and performance.
• Develop, facilitate and evaluate onboarding and orientation programs.
• Drive change using recognized change management strategies.
• Promote scientific inquiry and evidence-based practice to improve care quality.
