PruittHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse Educator to lead clinical competency programs, develop education plans, and oversee training for nursing staff across the facility. The role emphasizes adult learning principles, preceptorship, and ongoing assessment of care quality, with opportunities for career growth within the Pruitt University framework.

Strong collaboration with DHS and unit managers ensures learning needs are identified and addressed, with documentation compliant to regulations

Competenze

• RN license in state of practice.
• Experience in patient and staff education encouraged.
• Ability to lead competency assessments and training.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.

Mansioni

• Coordinate clinical competency assessments and training needs.
• Provide education on topics to develop clinical skills and critical thinking.
• Participate in interview and selection of clinical staff.
• Complete initial competency assessments during orientation and annually.
• Oversee preceptor program and train preceptors.
• Conduct competency assessments based on patient needs and acuity.
• Communicate with unit managers about orientation and educational needs.
• Maintain documentation of partner education per regulations.
