Job summary

Skyview Rehab and Nursing in Wallingford, CT is seeking an energetic RN Educator who is passionate about education and leads the education of all employees. You will develop orientation sessions, maintain nursing training programs, and plan a monthly calendar of education initiatives.

The role involves participating in Quality Improvement activities and meetings, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-call rotation as part of the management responsibilities.

• Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives and Meetings.
• Work Monday–Friday with a flexible schedule; on-call rotation.

Skyview Rehab and Nursing is a 97 bed SNF, a team-oriented facility, is seeking an RN for their Nurse Educator position who is an energetic and is passionate about education. This position is responsible for the education of all employees.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and conducts orientation sessions for all new nursing/general employees.
• Maintains training programs for the nursing department and works with the nursing leadership team to identify areas of need or interest for presentations.
• Plan, schedule and post monthly calendar of education programs
• Participates in Quality Improvement Initiatives and Meetings
• Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule/hours in management role.
• On call rotation.
