Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Clinical Educator to lead orientation and ongoing education for nursing staff across the system. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, infection control, and regulatory compliance with JCAHO, DOH, Magnet standards.

You will design programs, mentor staff, and collaborate with departments to improve care quality. Ideal candidates will have an MS or MSN, at least one year of critical care experience, and RN licensure with required certifications.

Qualifications

• Education: MS or MSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Experience: at least one year in critical care preferred; RN in acute care.
• Credentials: AHA BLS; ATCN/TNCC and other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate orientation plans and tailor to orientee needs.
• Develop and present nursing education programs meeting learning needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and evidence-based practice.
• Support performance improvement and documentation accuracy.
• Promote professional development and assess staff competence.
