Job summary

Halifax Health is seeking a Clinical Educator to lead orientation, education, training, and staff development across inpatient entities. You will assess needs, design programs, deliver education, and evaluate competency for the nursing workforce, aligning with evidence-based practice and hospital standards.

BSN is required with MSN preferred; five years of nursing or clinical educator experience and two years in curriculum development are expected.

Qualifications

• Design, implement and evaluate nursing education programs.
• Ability to align training with accreditation standards and hospital policies.
• Experience in competency assessment and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Assess educational needs for the health system or units.
• Develop unit-specific orientation plans in collaboration with nursing leadership.
• Coordinate educational demonstrations of new equipment or supplies.
• Document continuing education programs, BLS, ACLS and skills labs.
