PeaceHealth seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to develop, coordinate, and deliver orientation and education for nursing staff. You will lead evidence-based practice initiatives and serve as a clinical mentor, advancing staff competency and patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, active RN license, and 3+ years in staff development with preferred advanced certification. This full-time role offers a variable schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS, ACLS certification upon hire.
• 3+ years of RN experience.
• 3+ years of education, staff development, or preceptor experience.
• Master's degree in Nursing or Education preferred.
• Nursing Professional Development Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver education, orientation, and training programs for nursing and clinical staff.
• Assess learning needs and address competency gaps through targeted education and remediation plans.
• Support implementation of new processes, equipment, and evidence-based practices.
• Coordinate department-specific orientation for new hires.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, caregiver engagement, and quality outcomes.
• Maintain training and competency documentation in learning management systems.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing practice.
