Qualifikationen

• MS or MSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least one year of Critical Care experience preferred.
• Three years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care facility.
• If on the Mother/Baby Unit, IBCLC within 1 year is required.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider; RN - NJ is required.
• ATCN or TNCC required (or within 1 year) and 8 hours Trauma CNE annually if assigned to specified units.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (or within orientation) and 8 hours Stroke CNE annually for applicable units.
• ACLS required (or within 6 months) and potentially other certifications (NRP, PALS) per unit.
• Knowledge and skills: clear written and spoken communication; evidence-based practice; quality improvement.

• Coordinate development of orientation plans for unit education.
• Individualize orientation based on learner needs.
• Plan, coordinate and present programs to address learning needs.
• Evaluate educational program outcomes and update materials.
• Disseminate learning opportunities inside/outside Capital Health.
• Integrate evidence-based practice and regulatory standards.
• Develop and update education materials with diverse content.
• Promote staff development and ensure staff competence.
