Job summary

Central Health is seeking a Clinical Education Specialist to promote evidence-based practice and staff development across clinical teams. You will design, implement and facilitate orientation and ongoing education for nurses, unlicensed assistive personnel, and community health workers.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging sessions, creating competency tools, maintaining records, and ensuring alignment with Joint Commission and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Three years' nursing experience in ambulatory or acute care.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Texas nursing license on hire.
• AHA BLS certification on hire.
• NPD-BC and AMB-BC are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging education sessions to clinical staff using multiple teaching methods.
• Develop and implement competency assessment tools for staff.
• Maintain records of education sessions and attendance.
• Schedule and deliver training for new and existing staff.
• Ensure training complies with Joint Commission standards and SOPs.
