Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to provide professional nursing care and supervise RNs, LPNs, students, and non-professional staff on the unit. You will ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to staff development and performance evaluations under the direction of the unit Director.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Minimum 2 years in charge/clinical coordinator setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, supervision and example in direct patient care.
• Manage unit operations to meet regulatory requirements and standards.
• Participate in education, development and performance evaluation of staff.
• Support administrative duties as designated by unit Director.
