Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead nursing care for patients and families, directing RNs, LPNs, students, and support staff on the unit. This role ensures regulatory compliance and quality care, while supporting professional development and performance reviews.

Ideal candidates will have a nursing degree, an active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, and at least 2 years in a charge/clinical coordinator role, with BLS and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure requirements.
• At least 2 years of experience in charge/clinical coordinator setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements and standards.
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
• Advanced assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, students and non‑professional staff in direct patient care.
• Ensure the unit meets all regulatory requirements and standards.
• Participate in education, development, and performance evaluations of personnel.
