Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead nursing care for patients and families, directing RNs, LPNs, students and non-professional staff. The role ensures regulatory compliance and unit operations align with Mercy standards.

You will participate in staff education, development, and performance evaluations, working under the guidance of the Unit Director to promote quality patient care and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• At least 2 years of experience in charge/clinical coordinator setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients and families by directing, supervising and exemplifying nursing practice.
• Direct Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, students and non-professional staff in providing direct patient care.
• Ensure unit operations meet regulatory requirements and standards.
• Participate in education and development of personnel and performance evaluations as designated by the unit Director.
