Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced registered nurse to support operations and patient care in designated areas. You will act as a clinical resource for staff and patients and may function as a staff nurse as needed.

The role requires RN licensure, 2 years of patient care experience, and relevant life-support certifications (ACLS, PALS, BLS, etc.). Bachelor's in Nursing and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Must obtain and maintain an RN license in the hiring state and meet state board requirements.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years' experience in patient care required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Function as staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
