Job summary

Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) seeks a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a 100% on-site role at a DoE facility in Germantown, Maryland. Relocation support is provided and the SME will analyze government materials under applicable laws and DOE orders.

Ideal candidates have five years of field experience in weapon science or related areas, a Bachelor’s in physical sciences or engineering, a Master’s preferred, and an active DOE Q or DoD Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a physical science or engineering field from an accredited institution.
• Master's degree is highly desirable.
• Active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classification review and analysis of government materials per DOE orders and Office of Classification procedures.
• Apply RD, FRD, and NSI frameworks to sensitive topics including nuclear weapon design and related technologies.
• Support program objectives with technical findings and risk assessments.
