Job summary

Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) seeks a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the DOE Office of Classification in Germantown, MD. This is a long-term, 100% on-site role with relocation support at a DOE facility.

The SME will perform classification review and analysis of government material related to RD/FRD/NSI, requiring an active DOE Q or DoD Top Secret clearance. A Bachelor's in physical sciences or related engineering is required; a Master’s is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in physical sciences or engineering.
• Master's degree highly desirable.
• Experience with classification review of RD/FRD/NSI material.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classification review and analysis of government materials per DOE orders and procedures.
• Identify and document nuclear weapons-related topics and safeguards.
• Collaborate with DOE Office of Classification and GET personnel.
