Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a dedicated professional to supply and sustain training for the nuclear generating fleet, ensuring compliance with INPO and NRC requirements. The role focuses on developing and implementing fleet training programs for competent personnel across classroom, simulator, and on-site settings.

Responsibilities include designing materials, evaluating participants, and interfacing with engineering and external agencies.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to train others.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for presenting to groups.
  • Experience implementing training programs to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of INPO Accreditation process and NRC requirements is desirable.
  • Prior instructional experience and ability to develop training materials.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective instruction and evaluation in classroom, simulator, laboratory, or in-plant settings.
  • Support design, development, and maintenance of training materials.
  • Coordinate with plant engineering to assess training impact during modifications.
  • Interface with INPO and NRC to ensure high-quality training programs.
  • Support assessments and participate in outage-related activities when needed.
  • Assist the Emergency Response Organization and maintain ERO qualifications.
