Job summary

Energy Northwest is seeking a skilled Operations Training professional to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of Columbia Generating Station (CGS) licensed operations training programs. The role supports accreditation through INPO and NRC requirements, ensuring high-quality instruction and trainee readiness across classroom, plant, and simulator settings.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in a technical field with four years of experience in operations training for a nuclear power plant.
• RO/SRO license/certification or equivalent credentials are acceptable.
• Alternative experience: Certified Nuclear Navy Instructor credentials may substitute for RO/SRO license.
• Experience with INPO/NRC guidelines and regulatory requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Operations Training Programs using approved materials and classroom, plant, and simulator settings.
• Administer written tests and analyze results to measure learning objectives.
• Maintain auditable training records and ensure trainee qualification records are current.
• Oversee development and revision of training programs to align with industry standards and procedures.
• Assess learner performance and provide remediation and feedback as needed.
• Coordinate with line management to ensure training aligns with work assignments and performance goals.
