Development and implementation of fleet training programs to meet company, INPO, and regulatory agency requirements for competent, qualified nuclear generating station personnel ## **Responsibilities*** Provide effective instruction and evaluation in the classroom, simulator, laboratory and/or in-plant settings.* Provide support for analysis, design, development and maintenance of training materials.* Interface with plant engineering during the plant modification process to evaluate training impact, and develop required gap training.* Interface with internal groups and external agencies such as INPO and the NRC to ensure high quality training programs are maintained.* Provide support for the conduct of assessments.* Support the Outage organization during scheduled refueling outages, which may include temporary assignment to the refueling team and/or other outage support positions.* Support the Emergency Response Organization by obtaining and maintaining qualification for ERO positions owned by the Training Section ## **Required/Basic Qualifications*** High School/GED degree* 2 years related work experience ## **Desired Qualifications*** In addition to desired degree, 5 years related work experience **Additional Preferred Qualifications*** Demonstrated leadership qualities that emphasize flexibility, initiative, motivation, teamwork, organizing, planning, scheduling, and executing work assignments.* Must be able to communicate effectively in written and oral presentations, ability to speak in a clear, concise, and effective manner before small and large groups* Five (5) years of Radiation Protection Technician related job experience at the Nuclear Radiation Protection Tech III level.* Two (2) years of Radiation Detectors instrumentation calibration experience.* Two (2) years of Rad Materials Shipping experience.* Have assisted in training activities in the past, including development and implementation of training.* An associate's degree in an applicable Technical Science or Engineering field.* Must have ability to establish effective working relationships internal and external to the work group* Four years instructional experience.* Good working knowledge of regulatory training requirements.* In-depth knowledge of the INPO Accreditation process and NRC requirements.* Thorough understanding of the Systematic Approach to Training and Qualification process.* Good personal computer skills. **Working Conditions*** Typical classroom and distance learning environment* Some work in power plants (system walkdowns, On the Job Observations...etc.)* Hybrid – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period.
