Flowserve is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Specialist – Structural Analysis (Nuclear) in Bethlehem, PA. You will provide advanced mechanical analyses for Flowserve products and nuclear applications, ensuring designs meet requirements, codes, and Flowserve standards.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customers to solve complex problems, supporting product development, orders, and continuous improvement across pumps, seals, valves, turbines, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Nuclear industry experience with design-control expectations.
• Ability to perform structural, thermal, and rotor dynamic analyses.
• Clear technical communication in English.

Responsabilités

• Perform structural, thermal, vibration, and rotor dynamic analyses for nuclear and critical-service applications.
• Evaluate designs against codes and internal standards.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and documentation including ASME where required.
• Review design changes and supplier submissions for mechanical acceptability.
• Participate in design reviews, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.
