Qualifications

• Nuclear industry experience and familiarity with design-control expectations for nuclear applications.
• Ability to perform structural analyses using hand calculations and engineering estimates.
• Clear English communication with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural, thermal, vibration, torsional, lateral, and rotor dynamic analyses for nuclear and other critical-service applications.
• Evaluate designs against customer requirements, codes, and internal standards.
• Use FEA and hand calcs to assess stress, fatigue, natural frequencies, and stability.
• Review design changes and their impact on integrity, performance, manufacturability, and cost.
• Prepare engineering reports and ASME code documentation as required.
