Qualifications

• B.S. degree in nuclear field or equivalent with strong experience in the nuclear sector.
• 10+ years of direct nuclear reactor licensing, oversight management, and/or direct inspection experience (e.g., NRC).
• Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse technical team and collaborate with partners to resolve challenges.
• Excellent communicator, team oriented, experience working in a matrix organization and directing remote staff.
• Experience with advanced reactor design/licensing/oversight is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Regulatory Construction Oversight processes and procedures.
• Plan, execute, and maintain schedules for the Regulatory Construction Oversight organization and Kemmerer Unit 1 oversight.
• Coordinate ongoing regulatory construction oversight activities and staffing, including budget and contracting resources.
• Perform direct construction oversight activities, inspections, and QA oversight of programs.
• Lead interactions with Federal, State, and local regulators and partner organizations.
• Collaborate with design authority and engineering to address oversight issues timely.
• Participate in industry groups to implement lessons learned and best practices at TerraPower.
