Job summary

TerraPower is seeking a Director of Maintenance and Work Control to own and govern the station’s maintenance programs at Kemmerer Power Station. You will ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and efficient work planning across maintenance activities, schedules, and service contracts.

As the senior site authority, you will drive strategic capability, budgeting, and execution, coordinating with operations, engineering, and site leadership to protect workers and the environment while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or science field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience at a nuclear power plant.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management role.
• Familiarity with standard maintenance testing practices and codes; maintenance on nuclear I&C, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Has performed supervisory or management activities at a nuclear power plant during an outage and at power.

Responsibilities

• Owns and governs the station’s Maintenance and Work Control programs, including standards, policies, procedures, resource allocation, staffing models, work execution, and regulatory compliance.
• Has final approval authority for program standards, major policies, and procedures related to Maintenance and Work Control.
• Governs staffing models, qualification requirements, and training standards for the maintenance organization.
• Ensures full integration of maintenance requirements into operations, engineering, work planning, and construction/startup activities.
• Leads and coordinates responses of the maintenance department for plant events with emergency preparedness and site response organizations.
