Job summary

TerraPower is seeking a Construction Oversight Engineer to join the Natrium Regulatory Construction Oversight team, reporting to the Senior Manager. The role conducts technical inspections for Kemmerer Unit 1 and Natrium units, performs QA and supplier oversight, and leads scheduling to ensure effective execution of oversight priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
10+ years in nuclear regulatory compliance and NRC inspections.
Ability to adhere to strict QA standards.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Develop procedures for regulatory oversight for Kemmerer Unit 1 and Natrium units.
Provide inspection oversight of Natrium construction with NRC procedures.
Review USO and TerraPower QA programs for compliance.
Oversee suppliers to ensure readiness for NRC inspections.
Lead scheduling for oversight and inspection activities.
Track trends and recommend actions to management.
