Job summary

TerraPower LLC. seeks a Construction Oversight Engineer for the Natrium regulatory oversight team in Seattle. You will conduct technical inspections of Natrium unit construction, lead QA and supplier oversight, and schedule oversight activities in coordination with QA, Procurement and Construction teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 10+ years in nuclear regulatory compliance, with a demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and maintain high integrity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in nuclear regulatory compliance, including 10 CFR regulations and NRC reactor inspections.
• Capability to adhere to strict quality assurance standards.
• Self-starter with ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop procedures for regulatory oversight for Kemmerer Unit 1 and other Natrium units.
• Provide inspection oversight of Natrium unit construction per NRC regulations.
• Review USO and TerraPower QA programs to ensure compliance.
• Oversee suppliers for NRC inspection readiness.
• Lead scheduling for oversight and inspection activities.
• Track and analyze trends to guide management.
