Job summary

The Idaho National Laboratory's Nuclear Science & Technology directorate seeks an R&D Project Manager to lead teams responsible for design, irradiation, and post-irradiation examination of nuclear fuel experiments.

Responsibilities include managing scope, budget, schedules, and milestones; coordinating quality, regulatory, and instrumentation efforts; and representing NS&T in discussions with national and international partners to advance nuclear initiatives.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Nuclear Engineering with required experience.
• Ability to obtain DOE L clearance (US citizenship).
• Experience with ASME NQA-1 2000 or equivalent quality program.
• Strong leadership and multi-disciplinary program management.
• Experience with experimental design, irradiation, and post-irradiation examinations.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams responsible for design, irradiation, and examination of first-of-a-kind experiments.
• Oversee scope, budget, schedule, and technical milestones across disciplines.
• Coordinate with quality, regulatory, and instrumentation teams and partners.
• Develop and execute Experiment Execution Plans and project deliverables.
• Interface with national and international partners to advance nuclear initiatives.
