Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Technical Program Manager to accelerate demonstration and deployment of advanced nuclear energy systems within the NRIC. You will lead teams across INL and partner organizations, coordinating experimental infrastructure, facility upgrades and demonstration sites to move concepts from design to demonstration.

You will work with DOE, national labs and industry partners, managing scope, cost, and schedule while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in systems engineering or pilot plant/experimental facility design.
• Knowledge of model-based systems and digital engineering in plant design.
• Experience with requirements, configuration, risk management and verification/validation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple complex, evolving projects and establish program priorities.
• Lead and/or direct project managers to deliver work safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, modification and readiness activities for advanced reactor testing and demonstration.
• Communicate program performance to customers and laboratory leadership, and identify new opportunities.
