Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a seasoned Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and write audit reports while verifying corrective actions to closure.

On projects you are the benchmark for the licensee's quality organization; your independence and audit records are the foundation. Travel to client sites and supplier facilities is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead end-to-end audits: notification, checklist, meetings, evidence, findings, report.
• Supervise auditors and technical specialists on the audit team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Recommend additions/removals to the approved-supplier-list.
• Perform surveillances and close corrective actions with evidence.
• Maintain qualification records and support audits of our program.
