Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program within our nuclear quality assurance framework, aligned to ASME NQA-1. Plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

On projects you are the reference for the licensee's quality organization; independence from the work audited is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified as NQA-1 Lead Auditor or eligible within 90 days; extensive nuclear QA experience; ability to audit to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1; strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program; lead internal audits and supplier audits; supervise auditors and technical specialists on the audit team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; issue corrective-action requests and verify effectiveness; maintain qualification records.
