Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework, ASME NQA-1. You plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists, write the audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure while maintaining independence from the work audited.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with audits to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21.
• Experience auditing safety-related items; independence from audited work.
• ASQ CQA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal audits and supplier audits end to end with a team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers; manage corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain qualification records and support NRC-style audits.
