Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework. You will plan the annual schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and supervise a team of auditors and specialists, ensuring independent, well-documented findings and timely corrective actions.

You will maintain qualification records, write audit reports acceptable to NRC inspectors, and support related audits across project sites with occasional travel, including Sugar Land HQ

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA certification is a plus.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow without questions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead end-to-end audits with a team; manage notification, checklists, meetings, evidence, findings, and reports.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Recommend additions/removals to the approved supplier list and conduct surveillances.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support related audits.
