Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework. You will plan the annual schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and verify corrective actions to closure, with independence from the work audited.

You will write audit reports and present findings to licensee quality organizations, maintaining qualification records and supporting NRC-style audits across projects at Sugar Land HQ and other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or qualification within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow.
• Comfortable presenting findings to responsible personnel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end including notification, evidence, findings, and reports.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Classify findings, issue corrective action requests, and verify closure.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits.
